✅ Best seats
  • Over-wing exit row (often ~12–14) — 34–36 in of legroom and still near the front on this short cabin.
  • First Economy rows — close to the front lav, served first, ahead of the wing.
  • Window A/F in the first few rows — a genuinely forward seat on a short jet.
⛔ Avoid
  • Last row — lav right behind, no recline, last to deplane.
  • Middle seats (B/E) — and the A319 is narrow, so the middle feels tight.
  • Row just before the exit row — no recline, no legroom benefit.
Good to know
  • A shrunk A320: same cross-section, far fewer rows (~13–16), so every zone is closer together.
  • Exit-row armrests are often fixed (they house the tray and flotation gear), so those seats feel a touch narrower.
